We aim to take such a noble material as wood and start a revolution in the construction industry to deliver more efficient, sustainable, and responsible solutions in conjunction with state-of-the-art technology. What we offer is not a product but a process that consists of 4 stages:

MODELING

We define, study, and develop the construction solution that best suits your project.

MANUFACTURING

In this part of the process, we start developing all the components of your structure.

INSTALLATION

Your idea finally becomes a tangible project to form part of the construction revolution.

OUR WORK PROCESS

The first step is the conceptual design stage, where we meet with our clients to get a complete understanding of their vision..

Then we analyze the architecture of the project to work with the client and the architect. We then mutually develop design concepts with our clients and their architect, working on the first models and 3D representations that will be part of the project while always seeking the most efficient solution.

Once the design concept has been agreed upon, the next step is to develop a cost estimate and then move on to the modeling stage..

OUR WORK PROCESS

After defining the first conceptual agreements of the project, we work on the proposed solutions at the highest level of detail to find optimal solutions using Mass Timber (solid wood).

Different types of software allow for the detailing of each component of the structure so the model, drawings, and files can automatically be updated with changes made during the different iterations.

At this stage, we work collaboratively to facilitate coordination and cohesion among the project stakeholders (including calculation and construction specialists.)

This stage is crucial, as it is here where we will seek to ensure that, the project is well executed on-site, ensuring that our clients can significantly reduce construction time for their projects and thereby minimize risks.

OUR WORK PROCESS

It starts with the development and manufacturing of all the individual components of the wood structure.

We have the option to work with different finishes and pre-install connectors and hardware so that our CLT or GLT panels facilitate the installation and minimize on-site interventions. A meticulous expertise that Niuform has been perfecting for years.

Minimizing on-site interventions will help significantly reduce the overall project time, optimizing resources and costs.

OUR WORK PROCESS

In the final stage, with the prefabricated elements ready, the assembly becomes simple. Remember that we are always looking to ensure that the installation on-site is a simplified process.

With the connectors, hardware pre-installed, and precise cuts of the elements, our experts can efficiently install and guarantee a more sustainable solution down to the last mile.

Laminated beams, also known as Glulam or GLT, are structurally engineered wood products manufactured using layers of dimensional lumber bonded together. One of the significant advantages of GLT is that it can be manufactured in a wide range of shapes, sizes, and configurations for use in various structures, achieving solid, compact, and highly structurally stable construction.

WE ARE RESPONSIBLE
TO THE ENVIRONMENT

Construction is one of the world's most polluting industries, producing a large amount of solid waste per year; in Chile, it represents 34% of annual solid waste pollution. The construction sector is also responsible for 39% of global CO2 emissions. Mass Timber stands as an effective solution for combating climate change because it minimizes waste and can "sequester carbon." Wood comes from trees, and trees feed on CO2 as they grow; therefore, timber will never have the same amount of "sequestered" carbon despite all the energy used in the extraction and manufacturing process.
