glulam (Glued Laminated Timber)

WHAT IS GLULAM?

Glulam is a stress-rated engineered timber product composed of wood laminations, or "lamellae," bonded together with strong, waterproof adhesives They are also known as laminated beams.

  • One of Glulam's most significant advantages is that it can be manufactured in a wide range of shapes, sizes, and configurations for use in various structures.

  • Niuform laminated beams are unique in the market. A special surface finish, small knots, and exceptional warmth are some of the characteristics Glulam is known for.

  • Glulam solutions can create impressive results, such as vaulted ceilings and other designs in high, open spaces. They are the ideal structural choice in situations where strength and durability are a concern.

RESISTANT

Through industrial adhesives and multiple layers of wood, Glulam is highly resistant to chemicals, moisture, warping, and/or twisting.

VERSATILE

Glulam can be used in many different ways: for beams, pillars, pergolas, ceilings, hallways, stairs, panels, and veneer, among many others.

QUALITY FINISHING

Glulam allows you to create flawless pieces that you can work with effectively and efficiently.

With Glulam, you can achieve a solid, compact, and structurally stable structure.
